My Short Vacation
This time, I want to tell you about the first time I visit to Kota Tua Jakarta. I hope you are not boring with this story. Happy reading! 😎
A few weeks when I graduated from my vacational high shool, I have much spare time to go vacation. At the time, I and my friends have some plans to visit some places. But, We decided to go Kota Tua (Kotu) in Jakarta, the reasons were because it was near with our home, it did not need much money, and absolutely because We never visit there before.
In the morning, We went to railway station to take a train together. When We waited a train arrive while We taking some photos. After a train arrived, We directly entered a train. From Depok Baru Station, We through several railway stations to arrive at Jakarta Kota Station. Around at 10 a.m. We arrived at Jakarta Kota Station. We walked a while to arrive Kotu. Around 10- 15 minutes We arrived Kotu. At the time, day was hot and it made us lazy to walk, We ate lunch first, and after it We continued to explore Kotu. But, unfortunately some museum did not open 😞, so We just took pictures, and ate snacks there. Unconsciously, the day passed so fast, and We had to come back home.

According to Geographycal tourism, my vacation included in a regional tourism. We went to Kotu just for vacation, so according to goal it was a vacation tourism. We used land transportation, We took a train to arrive Kotu. According to age, We were youth tourism, and according to social level, We were middle class tourism.
Why I visited Kotu? And what were the benefits that I got after visited Kotu?
First, the reasons I did this vacation because I want to more know about history of Indonesia and some arts in Kotu. Beside that, I also want to relax and enjoy my spare time. Absolutely you know that there are so many museums in Kotu, but at the time I visited there, so many museums were close, so I could not to know a lot of Indonesia history that show in the museum.
What was kind the transportation that I used to go there? I took a train to arrive there, but if you want to visit Kotu, you can taking a train, by using public transportation or your private vehicle, it is easy to go there. In Kotu, there are many restaurants and shops, so I could buy something as a souvenir . It was an enjoyable vacation for me.
How about the tourism motivation for this vacation? The motivations about this vacation were physical and cultural motivation because beside I want to know about history and arts, I also want to relax. I also got some benefits when I visited Kotu, I felt happy, relaxing, and got freedom. My goals of this tour were to know more about Indonesia and have fun with my friends.
